January Prayer Guide

ANCO Daily Prayer Guide for January 2012

For each day listed below, please take some time to pray for whatever is requested. Our hope is that for each day, we as a body will be united in prayer for the same thing at the same time. We believe there is some power in this method of prayer, so we hope you’ll join us.

January 1 – Young Families will create opportunities to connect with each other. That godly relationships would be formed..

January 2 – Unreached People Group – Pray that we can see what God is already doing in this region and join Him in it. Pray for salvation amongst the unreached people God has called us to. Ask God to open doors.

January 3 – ANCO pastors – God’s leading while preparing sermons, administrating church business and counseling people. Pray for God’s hedge of protection to be around them and their families as they serve on the front lines of the battle.

January 4 – Willing, servant’s hearts – Pray that everyone will be involved and serve. God’s provision for workers in all areas of need. Ask God for specific direction for your life and how you can be involved in serving the body of Christ.

January 5 – Financial provision upon ANCO – Pray that God would pour out provision from the storehouses of Heaven to be used for His purposes for such a time as this. “Ask, seek, knock and the door will be opened.”

January 6 – ANCO elders Continue to ask God for wisdom and discernment as He guides the leadership of this church. Pray for new revelation from God concerning His purposes and desires. That God would give us ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to the church.

January 7 – J.E.T. Training – Ask God for anointing on the lessons during this series. Ask God to open our hearts to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Ask God for courage to obey Him when He speaks.

January 8 – That we would all be prepared for Sunday serviceand come with expectation. That we would listen to the Lord when He speaks to us and that we would be compelled to obey His voice.

January 9 – Vision Focus – Pray that the body of ANCO will continue to have the same mind and heart for planting churches and making disciples amongst all nations. That we as a body would be teachable and seek out answers to things we may not understand fully.

January 10 – ANCO Community – Pray that God will open doors for connection throughout the week. Pray for more opportunities to develop relationships through community events (Such as breakfast/Pizza Sundays).

January 11 – Pray for a great spirit of unityas we seek to live out the vision God has for us. Ask God to draw people to pray into the vision and mission and challenges we face. “Let us come boldly before the throne of grace.”

January 12 – SUTL, their finances, strength for the staff members, and doors would open for it to be translated into more languages. That God would help us to use this tool more affectively for Him.

January 13 – C-Group (Community) – Ask God to give Dane Spurgeon wisdom as he oversees the different groups. Pray for more people to get involved in a group so they have opportunity to develop relationships within the church.

January 14 – Sunday services will have anointing, healing, prophetic words, and room for the Holy Spirit to move among us.

January 15 – “Re-Think” church initiative Pray for God to raise up church planters. Ask God to grant wisdom to the team regarding all decisions concerning “launching out” into new frontiers. Petition God to send more workers “For the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.

January 16 – Millard South – Pray that the Holy Spirit will begin to work in the hearts of students and staff at Millard South. Pray that ANCO will have a growing love for those at Millard South. Lord, show us ways to reach out and take action.

January 17 – ANCO Montly Supported Workers – Pray for each worker’s protection, provision and blessing as they serve. (A list of current ANCO supported workers can be found at www.ancomaha.org)

January 18 – ANCO staff members – Ask God for grace to be poured out upon the ANCO staff as they work for His kingdom. Ask God to draw them closer to Him as they serve this body and for fresh revelation of His great love for them.

January 19 – Unreached People Group – Pray for medical care: The organizations that are building medical clinics, foreign doctors working to treat the people and to train local doctors and nurses, for medical care to be available to people in the countryside and ultimately that many people will find the One who is their healer.

January 20 – Pursuit Youth Group – That God would continue to guide Luke and Lance as they shepherd the youth. Pray for God to breakthrough in the hearts of the young people so they can discover His will for their lives.

January 21 – Humility – Pray that the Holy Spirit will stir our hearts to humility, holiness and love.

January 22 – D-Group (Discipleship) – Pray the Lord would anoint the leaders as they share insights and principles from God’s word. Pray that every seed planted would produce fruit in the believers’ lives and cause them to share what they have learned with others.

January 23 – People fighting illness, especially cancer would experience healing, strength and increased faith. That God would speak encouragement to each individual who is walking through difficult times.

January 24 – Fear of the Lord – Pray that we would have fresh reverence and godly fear of the Lord. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” — “Fear God and give Him glory!”

January 25 – God’s will for a building – Ask God for His will to be done regarding a permanent meeting place. Ask God to provide the place He desires and that we “wait on Him” to take the next step in this area.

January 26 – Children’s Ministry – Pray for God to reveal Himself to the children and that they will respond to God’s still, small voice. Pray for wisdom, direction, provision and strength for the leaders as they serve and teach the kids.

January 27 – Ushers and Greeters – Pray for God to help these men serve the body faithfully and unto the Lord. Ask for God to give them discernment as they watch over the congregation each Sunday.

January 28 – Pray that the Lord would raise up mentors in the church. Pray for generations to work together to impart and release God’s gifts throughout the body.

January 29 – Worship teams to be able to hear the leading of the spirit, have productive practices, a hedge of protection for all members. Pray for Deb Reno as she directs the teams — that she would be led by the Holy Spirit and that He would continue to move powerfully among us.

January 30 – Fresh Start, for financial provision, Pray for opportunities to visit many countries in 2012 and that God would establish “beach heads” for His word to be established among unreached people groups.

January 31 – Physical needs. Pray that no need would be unmet by those that are suffering in our body. That anyone who has needs would make them known so the body can reach out to meet that need.
