How it all began…

During the summer of 2003, several informational meetings were held at the home of Pastor Lincoln and Jennifer Murdoch in Peoria, Arizona to share the vision that God had put on their hearts for planting a church. Then, in Sept. of ’03, for those who desired to go further, Core Group meetings were held three times a month for six months to go deeper into the values, theology and vision of what the Lord wanted for ANC.

There were 20 adults who desired to be part of the launching of All Nations Church in Phoenix, and in March of 2004, ANC Phoenix was opened to the public. For the first 15 months, ANC Phoenix met on Saturday evenings at Arrowhead Elementary School, and in June of 2005, the services were shifted to Sunday mornings at 10:00am.

A New Chapter begins…

God began leading Linc and Jen on a challenging course over a 2 year period, culminating with a clarion call to have All Nations Church Phoenix plant another All Nations Church in Omaha, NE. The vision, values and DNA of ANC Phoenix would be multiplied in Omaha through this, our second domestic church plant in the ANC church multiplication vision. The leadership in Phoenix and the ANC Overseers were in full agreement that this was God’s will and the next step in the church multiplication vision He’d given us.

So in April 2008, ANC Omaha was born.

Chronicle Of A Call….All Nations Church And A Church Multiplication Vision

Below is the personal chronological timeline as experienced by Pastor Linc and Jen Murdoch for the birthing process of ANC Phoenix, South Asia and Omaha.

June 2002 – God begins to speak to us about planting a church here in the Phoenix Valley.

April 2003 – With assurance that we’ve heard from the Lord, after 10 months of prayer, and with the blessing and confirmation from the Antioch Network Board, we say “yes” to planting a church.

June 2003 – The vision expands to a church multiplication vision – Plant “church planting churches.” Bob Roberts of Northwood Church in Texas was God’s mouthpiece to us in this.

July/August 2003 – We have 3 informational meetings in our home and share the vision with friends.

September 2003 – We begin meeting as a Core Group three times a month for six months with about 20 adults for the purposes of getting to know one another better and further discussing vision, doctrine and core values.

March 2004 – We begin All Nations Church Phoenix – 1st church and focus area #1 of the vision.

Spring 2005 – We are led to target an adopted people group in South Asia as ANC Phoenix’s UPG, becoming focus area # 2 in our vision.

September 2005 – God began to speak to Pastor Lincoln and Jennifer about focus area # 3 – ANC Phoenix multiplying and planting the 2nd domestic ANC church – ANC Omaha. In the Fall of 2005, Lincoln shared this vision with his father, as well as with some additional mentors and spiritual fathers.

2006 – During this entire year, we continued to seek the Lord as to what He was saying. We shared with a few other mentors and spiritual fathers seeking their prayer and counsel.

Late 2006 and into 2007 – We struggled greatly coming to a decision regarding the possibility of planting a new ANC church in Omaha. However, with each passing month, we feel more and more convinced that this is what God is calling us to do.

February – May 2007 – We share this with ANC’s Overseers and Elders for their input and counsel.

April 2008 – ANC Omaha is born!

We look toward the future with great anticipation! God has brought together an amazing group of people who are friendly and engaging, and who love the Lord and desire to see His Kingdom spread everywhere in the world!
